Rise, created by Barclays and Streets Consulting are proud to create a great night of comedy and networking to raise funds in aid of Street Child. We are very grateful that every penny raised will be matched by Rise, created by Barclays.
Be sure to get your tickets quick as the last three editions have been a sell-out!
Tickets are £25 and all proceeds will go to charity.

INTRODUCING OUR MC, JULIA STREETS
The event will be MC’d by Julia Streets, founder & CEO of Streets Consulting and host of DiverCity Podcast.
As a former sell-out stand-up comedian herself, Julia has gigged at the Edinburgh Fringe and London’s iconic Comedy Store. Julia will be introducing a great new line-up of comedians, which will be revealed in due course!
Julia is passionate about supporting Street Child. She serves on the Board of Trustees and witnesses the impact of their impressive work to improve the lives of children in some of the world’s toughest to reach places by providing sustainable models of education.
Toussaint douglas
Toussaint Douglass is one of comedy’s most exciting and talked about new names and is already making serious waves across the industry. His innovative brand of stand up mixes the personal with the political, whilst adding a uniquely absurdist slant to brilliant comic effect.
Seriously talented, joyfully absurd and charmingly awkward with deceptively subversive writing, Toussaint Douglass is the next big thing!

American comedian and actor, Abigoliah Schamaun is outrageous and unapologetic, and her unbridled charisma, tantalising persona and natural comedic skill have taken her all over the world.
Abigoliah always presents her rambunctious comedy with an open heart; bringing her audience into her uninhibited world with passion, raw energy and exhilarating excitement. She has wowed the TV industry with appearances on Pointless Celebrities (BBC), Captive Audience (C4), Outrageously Funny Comedians (Channel 5) and I Live With Models (Comedy Central) to name a few.

Voted Essex Comedian of the Year, his cheeky chappy persona lends itself to perfectly delivering a wealth of material covering everything from his East End Nan, relationships, celebrity culture and fame, as he continues to collect fans nationwide.

Regional comedian, author and actor Laura Lexx is vivacious, impassioned, intelligent and one of the best MCs/Headliners on the comedy scene. Born and bred in the home county of Somerset, Laura’s comfy demeanour, warmth and energy delightfully juxtapose her biting wit, sharp tongue and brutal audience take downs, which just can’t stop going viral.
Following her Live at The Apollo (BBC) debut Laura received an unprecedented reaction both from the live crowd and audiences at home, which lead to her appearing in shows such as Mock The Week (BBC), Hypothetical (Dave) and Celebrity Mastermind (BBC) to name a few.

Street Child is one of the world’s fastest growing international children’s charities. Their purpose is to see all children safe, in school and learning – especially in low resource environments and emergencies. Every year, Street Child support tens of thousands of children with material contributions to improve their safety, access to schooling, and quality of learning.
There are 121 million school aged children in the world. Up to a third of the world’s out of school children live in disaster and conflict-affected countries – a percentage that is rising annually. Street Child believes that’s not acceptable and works hard to educate, protect and empower children in the world’s toughest places.
Street Child started in 2008 in Sierra Leone with 100 street-connected children and in just 15 years, they have reached and supported 1m+ children across 25 countries, across sub-Sahara Africa, Asia, Middle East, and Europe.
