After starting his career as a medical doctor, Dr Ozan Özerk has become known as a dynamic serial entrepreneur and visionary leader in the fintech industry, with a passion for innovation. When confronted with the need for an international payments and banking system that could empower his businesses to grow, he founded OpenPayd. Since launching in 2017, OpenPayd has developed into one of Europe’s leading Banking-as-a-Service providers and one of the key drivers of the embedded finance revolution, processing over €55bn annually.Dr Ozan Özerk will share his remarkable journey building companies such as Merchant Bank (EMBank), Ozan SuperApp, Eurotrader and OpenPayd to establish a fintech ecosystem that is changing financial services.
