Fintech Fringe is excited to announce the appointment of Raf De Kimpe as our new Event Director. Raf brings a wealth of experience in the fintech industry, having successfully led large-scale events as CEO of Fintech Week London. This addition comes at a pivotal time for Fintech Fringe, as we expand our commitments to support the fintech ecosystem through a robust schedule of events in 2024 and beyond.
Fintech Fringe, which launched during London Tech Week 2023, has rapidly grown into a central platform for fintech scaleups, offering a unique combination of in-person events and a dynamic online forum to foster ongoing dialogue and collaboration. With the upcoming 2025 programme set to be our most ambitious yet, the need for an experienced event operator was clear.

As Event Director, Raf will assume leadership for content programming and sales for all our major event initiatives including Fintech Connect in December, Freshers – our new fintech grad event in February next year as well as our flagship festival during London Tech Week.
Raf will continue his leadership of Fintech Week London, which draws over 1,000 key decision-makers from fintechs, banks, and financial institutions, where he has demonstrated his ability to curate content that resonates with diverse audiences while fostering meaningful connections. This experience will be invaluable as we look to grow Fintech Fringe and deliver even more value for the UK fintech ecosystem in the coming year.
